Did you know?
Our gut forms an integral part of our general wellbeing! And that typical symptoms of poor digestive health include: change in bowel habits, cramps, heartburn, weight problems and bloating. However, many symptoms are insidious and non-specific; such as tiredness, sleep disturbance, frequent colds, skin problems and mood swings.
Do you recognise these symptoms?
Are you one of the many who suffer in silence? Then you are probably not alone.

De-Stress Workshops – next workshop to be advised
Following the success of these one-day workshops last year, I am delighted to be offering the De-Stress Yoga Workshop again. When:- Sunday 26th Feburary 2017. Location:- Park Street Village Hall AL2 (may move to Hatfield Road, St Albans).
During this day, which will run from 10.30am-16.30 pm, we will focus on how to use yoga as a therapeutic tool to deal with modern day stress and anxiety. Techniques will involve gentle postural work (yoga asanas), breathing techniques, mindfulness, relaxation and more. You do not need to have much experience in yoga. Just a willingness to explore, learn more about yourself and discover ways to feel better.
Cost is £55.00 and booking must be made in advance to reserve your place. (Contact me)
Stress is a major component of modern day living and it is becoming widely acknowledged that stress/anxiety related disorders are on the rise. In fact, according to the World Health Organisation, stress is “the health epidemic of the 21st century” and the driver of many chronic diseases. It can include common symptoms such as headaches, low energy, anxiety, IBS, insomnia, skin problems… and more. Chronic stress can wreak havoc on the mind and body which is why it is so important to take steps to control and be able to cope with the stressors in your life.
A few comments from people who attended the last workshop:-
